Macedonia Fund

Throughout his epistles, Paul clearly encourages the financial support of missionaries and pastors. He says to the Galatians (Gal 6:6) that those being taught should finacially support their teachers in the faith. But while working in Corinth, there were reasons why he prefered not to take money from the Corithians. In this case, the brethren in Macedonia enthusiastically helped with his support.

The Galilee Protocol Medical Missionary Association maintains the Macedonia Fund to help certain lay ministers who so prominatly promote the Galilee Protocal that they prefer not to draw from the general funds for their own living expenses. This fund is an offical Association initiative to provide a dedicated funding mechanism for donors with a specific burden to help support the lay ministries of these individuals.
